Hello, I'm Catalda Ramano author of Yay! Yippee! My Mommy Having a Baby! I am a single mother of 2 AMAZING children. I wrote my children's book because when I was pregnant I was trying to find something for my son that was like his life at home. All the books were mommy and daddy. I couldn't find anything for a baby on the way by a single mother. I think books help children learn and I think I have always used books for that purpose for my son. So I thought it would help others in a similar situation as myself prepare older siblings & also help encourage single mothers through their pregnancy that they will be ok. Also that they can have a happy family even if its not the "ideal" family. I had my son do the illustrations to make it more personable. I hope you & your family ENJOY!
